Temple Youth Celebration

A BEACON TO THE WORLD!

...are you ready?

On May 2nd, 2010 the Vancouver Temple will be dedicated by the prophet of the Lord! In celebration of this great event, youth from around the province and Bellingham have been asked to perform a cultural event that tells the secular and spiritual history of this area. The script has been written, the music composed, the dances choreographed, and the costumes sewn. We now invite all youth in the Vancouver Temple District to come and join us in performing "A Beacon to the World".

FINAL INFO FOR FAMILIES HOSTING BILLETS

1. Breakfast is needed each morning (something nutritious please).
Note: Nanaimo youth leaders ask if possible to send their youth onto the ferry sunday morning with a "breakfast bag meal" so that the kids will have something to drink and eat.... we may want to ask the surrey families to also do this for the departing Victoria youth. What do you think?

2. Pick up and Drop off times for the event can be found on the blog please check.

3. A Billet family adult member must come inside to the Langley event Center to meet/sign out their billets and meeting areas will be posted in the Center. After picking up billets they will meet their own youth at a designated exit, Each stake has been assigned an exit which will be marked on their wristband and that is where the lower mainland youth will be signed out. Billeted youth will be signed out by us on the concourse level. Non billeting traveling youth will have their own exit where they will be signed out by their stake leader.

4. Saturday morning any youth departing after the show must bring their luggage with them in the morning to store at the YSA (old) Langley building before being dropped off at the temple site for morning devotional. There is no access to this luggage during the day.
